Carbonara sauce

Trust me, making your own sauce is EASY and so much more delicious. You'll not only be proud of yourself but thank yourself when you have sauce left over as it's perfect for mopping up with some garlic bread. Carbonara is a great white based pasta sauce that goes beautifully with both chicken and bacon pastas. With it's rich, creamy texture and cheesy parmesan, this sauce is a favourite in my house!


Carbonara sauce


400ml whole cream
2 tbsp crushed garlic
Handful of parmesan cheese
3 tbsp olive oil (I use (link: text: The Village Press))
1 tsp of fresh rosemary
1 tsp of oregano
Salt and pepper


Add all ingredients to a bowl and whisk to combine.

Seal shut and store in the fridge for later or use immediately.
